Mesmerize Magic Circle is a free magic circle based in General Santos City. MMC is a free circle that allows magicians from different genre of magic to join whether hobbyist or professional. Moreover, it also welcomes magic enthusiasts who wants to learn the conjuring art. It is a community of magicians which is particularly into idea sharing and developing skills through the guidance and criticism of other magicians also.
We are a non-profit circle and at the same time considers each member within an equal level. Basically joining the MMC does not entail you to pay any registration fees whatsoever though there are certain requirements in order to determine your dedication to the art.
MMC Mission
MMC’s mission is to have a close community of Magicians here in the South basically to upheld the art of magic and at the same time touch more lives with it.
MMC Vision
We are looking forward into a scenario wherein there would be a very close connection between all magicians whether hobbyists and professionals. Furthermore, we envision that the art of magic will last long in and be regarded as an artform that deserves to be respected and loved.
The Mesmerizer’s Philosophies
Being a member of MMC, these are the Philosphies that should be inculcated in both heart and mind:
1.) Magic is an art that should be loved
2.) Magic is not about tricks rather it is the emotional connection that you create with your audience.
3.) Magic is for everyone
4.) Magic should not be used for deleterious motives
5.) Magic is meant to entertain people and not create false beliefs
6.) The Magician’s Code should be considered sacred
MMC Activities
Seminars & Trainings - This event is mainly for newbie magicians who wants to learn more about magic and its different categories. Usually this is done by the Forefronters and a visiting magician from other regions.
Meetings – The MMC have weekly and monthly meetings wherein ideas will be shared with fellow magicians. Basically this event is for creating a bond between MMC members.
Raid Performance – Once in a while MMC members will have a chance to showcase their ideas on pubs, malls and streets together with other MMC members.
Shows – It can either be a group show or a personal show. For group shows only selected MMC members can perform depending on the client’s request. For a personal show, the MMC member hired can ask any MMC member to accompany him. Also, he can endorse the show to another MMC member in cases that he won’t be able to attend to it.
Other Events – Other events such as charity shows, magic contests and conventions will be announced to other MMC members through text.
